INTRODUCTION

Our E-M8DVR features a new upgraded 160GB HDD. This

DVR is the ideal recorder for applications which have

space-restrictions and require a small recorder with motion

activated recording for 100 hours or more. The DVR also has

3.5” LCD video monitor for live display or playback.

COMPACT SIZE

Extremely compact, the E-M8DVR has an

aluminium-mag-alloy metal case and has been built to

withstand the ruggedness required by investigators and/or

security users. Ideal for portable applications or for

installation in small cramped spaces, the E-M8DVR has a 2

hour internal battery or can be powered from AC via the

included adaptor. Approximately half the size of a VCR

cassette, the DVR can be easily hidden for covert operations.

We also have a range of extended battery packs available.

RECORDING

The unit is conﬁ gured by an on-screen-display menu with user

friendly controls. For recording activation, the E-M8DVR has

a single button for easy recording activation. With the single

button activation, use of the recorder by non-technical

operators is made easier. The E-M8DVR also features

internal software motion detection. When used in this mode,

the DVR only records when there is movement in front of

the camera.

COVERT DVRs

Conﬁ gurable in the menu, the user can also conﬁ gure

the DVR for schedule activated recording, or

continuous recording. Users have the option of

recording to the internal HDD or to an SD card which

can be inserted. Typically on the internal HDD with

the power supply connected, users can get 5~6 days.

Alternatively, on a 1 GB SD card, the E-M8DVR can

record for ±60 minutes.
